FRAME 03 — Leadership…

What I bring to a team, and the growth strategy map that keeps one connected team customer-obsessed — bringing the outside-in outlook as we scale design.

FRAME 01 — Focus areas

Four areas I own. Each one is measured by what the team and the client can do afterwards, not by what I did myself.

4 areas · 1 team

01 / 045 focus areas

Design leadership

From building alongside, to guiding the team to their best outcomes.

I'd rather be measured by the people who grew than the screens that shipped. Growth plans, honest critique, and the patience to let someone own a decision — that's how designers move from movers to enablers. In the last two years, three stepped up a level; one now leads people of his own.

  • Mentoring in craft and judgement
  • Growth plans
  • Design critique
  • Hiring
  • Matching people to the craft that fits them

02 / 045 focus areas

Accessibility & systems

Experiences that won't break, even if there isn't a screen.

Brands put inclusivity into their slogans, but not always into their websites. I'd rather design it in from the first wireframe than audit it in at the end — so the person using a screen reader gets through the same journey as everyone else.

  • WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Dual COE sign-off
  • Design systems
  • Governance
  • Team training

03 / 045 focus areas

Research & experience strategy

Finding user questions, rather than running behind solutions.

Sentiment analysis, market audits and journey maps across digital, assisted and physical channels. Optimise journeys, not touchpoints — because the last best experience anyone has anywhere becomes the minimum they expect everywhere.

  • Service blueprints
  • Journey maps
  • Usability testing
  • Card sorting
  • MoSCoW prioritisation

04 / 045 focus areas

GenAI & new business

What we know, what we can know, and what we should know.

From executive storytelling to bringing in new engagements. AI co-pilots, conversational search and generative platforms — designed so the person always knows when a human is a step away.

  • Pitch strategy
  • AI co-pilots
  • Conversational design
  • Click-through prototypes
